Research Associates
Visthar’s campaigns and advocacy wing fights for the rights of women and children from marginalized communities. To support our campaigns, we are initiating a research program to study the condition of children in bonded labour, children at risk and women in Panchayati Raj in Northern Karnataka. We are looking for skilled researchers who are trained in participatory research methods to take on this role. Participating in this program will enable you to work closely with rural and marginalized communities. In addition to designing the research methodology, the research associate with conduct the field research.

The ideal research associate we are looking for is fluent in both Kannada and English, and has experience in doing similar research. Field experience in North Karnataka is a bonus. This is a full time staff position.
