Mr. Theodore Baskaran
Writer, Film Historian, Former Civil Servant
A well-known writer in Tamil, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award - Iyal Virudu by the Tamil diaspora in Toronto in 2014. He Was conferred the Degree of Doctor of Divinity(Honoris Causa) by Serampore University in 2005. His book ,The Message Bearers (1981) is a standard reference work on the cultural history of South India.
Mr. David Selvaraj

An educationist with deep involvement in community based advocacy for the rights of the marginalized in Indian society. Formerly he served as the first national co-ordinator of Hilfswerk der Evangelischen Kirchen Schweiz(HEKS) and as the Founder-Director of the Diaconal Ministry of the Church of South India. David has been Dean of a semester long study abroad programme in India for students from Gustavus Adolphus College and Concordia College in Minnesota, USA since 1998. He also coordinates a month long India immersion for students from the University of Lancaster (UK) and Gordon College Mas, (USA).David offers training and capacity building support for Non Profits in India and serves as a consultant to ecumenical and secular developmental agencies in Asia and Europe.
Ms. Mercy Kappen

With Visthar since its inception, Mercy Kappen has over 30 years of experience as a trainer, activist, and programme coordinator. She has a strong foundation in critical pedagogy. Mercy has been involved in designing and facilitating capacity-building for mainstreaming gender and diversity in organizations and programmes. She has served as visiting faculty at the Grail Centre in Cape Town for the diploma in Training for Transformation and has been a gender facilitator for CBM (SARO), Asia-Pacific Alliance of YMCAs and the Federation of African Women in Media Zimbabwe, among others.
Prof. Muzaffer H Azadi
Professor, Dept of Studies in Political Science and Public Administration, University of Mysore. His aeas of specialization include Agrarian Studies, Globalization, Gandhism , Political Sociology, Democratic Theory, Social Movements, Comparative Government and Politics, Human Rights in India, Ideology, Global Political Theory. He has received the Junior Research Fellowship by the UGC In Gandhian Thought and Rockefeller Post- Doctoral Fellowship, University of Chicago.
Rev. Dr. Dexter Maben
A professor at the United Theological College in Bangalore. He serves an an Associate Professor of the New Testament and a chairperson of the Department of Biblical Studies.
Ms. Nandini B K
Senior Programme Officer, Action Aid, Bangalore. A poet, singer and social activist passionate about women's rights.
Ms. Kirtana Kumar
Actor, director and film-maker based in Bangalore. Has received several major awards and fellowships including from the McArthur Foundation and India Foundation for the Arts for her contribution to theatre & film. She is a trustee of Women Artists' Group, runs the year long Theatre Lab for children and is the co-owner of Infinite Souls Farm, a rural artists residency in Bangalore.
Mr. Babu Joseph
Executive Trustee of Axis Bank Foundation. He joined the Bank in 1995. and served at different branches before moving to the corporate headquarters in 2005 to head the Advances Department.
